This ingenious little device helps you trim your nails without leaving rough ragged edges or uneven nails. I got the large size with the extra attachments. It grinds the nails down instead of cutting them. It has two speeds, low and high (for lack of a better term). The lower speed is perfect for cutting the nails of children or an elderly person. It's also a good idea to start on this speed to learn how the device works, as it would be easy to grind off more than you intend at the higher speed. I love the little reservoir for collecting the clippings, although there were some small bits that got thrown out the top. I used a paper underneath my hand just in case, and was glad that I did. I needed to use the small brush that comes with it as the machine created static electricity and the dust and clippings did not want to easily pour out of the container. The 'clipper' also comes with a buffing wheel, which will shine your nails like crazy! That also involves a learning curve--the first time I tried it, it kind of skipped around on my nail. You need to be careful with this as you could overbuff your nail also, so take your time. It also included a small dremel that you could use to grind off gel polish if you wanted to, but I don't see any other use for that. In short, this is a great device for using with kids, elderly, or yourself if you dislike using regular clippers. It's rechargeable and comes with a short cable for doing so. Highly recommend.
