Sulfur is a well-known ingredient for treating acne. Reishi mushroom is… questionable… but doesn’t seem to hurt the effectiveness of the sulfur.For me, benzoyl peroxide spot treatments work wonders to prevent pimples, but adding this sulfur spot treatment on white heads makes them disappear in hours, not days. It was quite surprising just how effective it was.No awful smell that some sulfur treatments have. The little ball applicator tip is something I’ve never seen before and makes it super easy to apply without having to use your fingers.Everyone gets pimples, and a good spot treatment for when they show up is a key part of any skincare routine. This one has worked really well for me.Used for 3 days zero improvements and smelt so bad stop use. All you can smell is a like a faint match smell. It's horrible.This really works! My son is starting to deal with his first breakouts so I was looking for products to help him and we are both excited that this really works. Since he uses them all together it’s hard to review them individually and I don’t know how well any one product would work without being used all together so I would recommend using as recommended. He starts with the foam cleanser and then the moisturizer and he uses the spot treatment as needed. I was surprised by the prices for these products but since they really work I do think it’s worth it. He is not great about using these products as a daily routine, but uses them when he actually has breakouts, and the spot treatment actually noticeably reduces any breakouts overnight. We were amazed by the results which I do assume are the result of the spot treatment. I love that these products are not drying to his skin either. I’m sure these products would work even better if used as a daily routine but at least he has products that he can go to when he needs them for quick results. He really likes that they work but I think he also likes that they are a manly sounding brand and they don’t smell girly. He says they have no smell but I think it has a light clean scent and it reminds me of a lighter version of my husband’s shaving cream.Bye bye acne and hello clear skin.....Although I have not achieved this goal yet I think this product will help me get close to it. I've used it a few times and I love that it dries out the acne spot without drying or irritating the rest of my skin. I will definitely keep using to get clear skinI've been using this for a few days on 2 pimples. I'm not sure if it's really helping or the pimples are just healing & going away on it's own. I think the pimples decreased in size slightly. I do like the applicator tip, I've never seen anything like it. I don't even have to use my finger to spread the treatment. I also like that this sulfur based spot treatment doesn't have any scent. This is not an invisible treatment so I just use it at bedtime. I haven't experienced any dryness in the areas I apply this to.While everyone's skin reacts differently to products, this line has worked wonders for my teenager. The spot treatment works fast and does not dry out the skin like some other products that she has tried. It is a small tube so, if you have more than an occasional breakout to treat, it may not last long.Even at this point I am still dealing with taking care of my skins and occasional breakouts; if its from working in the dirt all day or too much sweat - I still have the issues. So having a spot treatment option really helps despite how much I try to keep clean. I hadn't tried one built around Sulfur before and what really stands out for me is how quickly this handles any whitehead that might be trying to appear. As soon as I've seen one start to pop up since I got this I just applied a tiny bit to it and within hours I see a difference. I don't know how much the mushroom is really doing into this but it's not had any negative results on my skin so far.It's only 0.5oz for 20$ currently but this is just a spot treatment, that 0.5oz is going to go a long way and to top it off it's held up for a few months now without drying out of seeming to waste any. I'm happy with the results and would continue using.I like Jack Black products, so didn’t hesitate to grab this brand when I was searching for acne products. Like most others, I’ve been battling breakouts from mask wearing. My skin is typically well-behaved and I experience small breakouts than full-face breakouts. I wanted a spot treatment that would act fast. This Jack Black Acne Remedy Clearing Spot Treatment does just that! I put a drop of the product on the offending spot before bed and by morning it’s already improved. The formula is a bit sticky and pasty when it dries, so I think there is room for improvement there. Tube is really small, but an adequate size for the amount of product needed for each use to spot treat.
