My dog can escape this lol he can still bark & still eat & really he can still chew things but not as easily as before. We make him wear it outside because he likes to chew up toys & the trampoline & it was either he went to a meat markets for destroying all my stuff or the muzzle so I opted for the muzzle. Don’t come for me. I worked hard for the things we have & I refuse to let our untrained dog destroy things.IT slips off smarter dogs. But IT works very very well to prevent nipping as I will punish her for taking it off. So it did its job. I wish i could give a 5star but she was able to defeat take it off when i turned my attention.I bought a medium for my 60 lbs pit mix, she doesn’t mind wearing it, which was a surprise. It’s adjustable and light weight…ReturnedFits the dog beautifully. However, she gets it off every time and completely destroys the plastic clip that keep it in place because the strapping fabric they use slips right through and loosens the straps with very little effort. Needs something else to secure it so it doesn't loosen with light to heavy play. She's a 40 pound dog playing with a 80 pound dog that is also muzzled. His is a metal cage with leather that she pulls off his head after being freed by biting the leather strap and pulling it toward her until she works it over his ears. It's much harder to remove his, than it is hers. His doesn't slip, but the leather will eventually stretch. Leather it can be tightened more easily than the nylon used on this product. Once the masks are off then they start drawing blood, not through fighting, but rougher playing. I'm running all over my yard trying to grab one of them by the collar while they play keep-a-way from me. By the time I grab one I am exhausted and they couldn't be happier.I have a 17lb rescue Chihuahua Shiba mix who scavenges and is constantly nose to the ground. She loves to find things along our walks and hold them in her mouth. She even found a sausage patty once! Anyway, this could potentially be harmful to her, so I figured a muzzle is a good way to curb that behavior. I tried a Baskerville muzzle, but it didn't fit her right. I purchased the S in this muzzle, but it was far too big. The customer service team got an XS on its way to us in a day! I'm so happy with the service and the fit of the XS is perfect for my little girl. She seems pretty comfortable in the muzzle and it's easy to give treats through. Happy I went with this!The muzzle that I ordered did not fit properly on my boxer/lab mix dog. I ordered a (S)MALL as per his measurements & referencing the size chart. The After-Sales Service/Support Team acknowledged an issue with sizing, so they are trying to remedy the problem with a FREE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM. No need to even send the original muzzle back! It restricts him from opening his mouth but still able to bark with it on.Seems like its a bit uncomfortable especially with how it may too close to his eyes.Might work better for larger dogs but not great for smaller. (XS size)This is our 5th muzzle purchase because our dog either went crazy in the other styles or could get them off. He doesn’t mind this one as it isn’t as restricting and he can breath easily and can’t get it off. He doesn’t fight us when we put it on - he did with others, so it must be comfortable.My dog squirmed out of this several times. Not a solid fastening mechanism. Not ideal for dogs with long snouts.Great muzzle allows a lot of room dog still drink water through the frame and even a little treatThe product fit nicely. Very adjustable, let’s them drink water and comes on and off very easily.
