Just wow! I've had hormonal acne since I was a preteen and I'm in my lazy 20s now, and was almost resigned to just having acne breakouts for the rest of my life. I got this as a spot treatment for cystic acne but it's helped clear all of my breakouts. I've only been using it for three days and my skin is clearer than it's ever been. It isn't oily and dries quickly, and it has a light burning sensation for about 5-10 minutes after application which I've found is usual of BP products. Literally the next day after using this product I could see my acne shrinking. I've had a cystic acne spot that's hung around for weeks and after three days it's almost completely flat.I was really on the fence about buying this product because all of the negative reviews, but I did a skin test before using it. Based on the reviews, I would recommend skin testing for five days — first on a spot below the neck (I did chest), and then a discrete spot near where you want to use it (I did side of neck). I expect 2x treatment will eventually start to make my skin dry and flaky, so I anticipate switching to 1x or every other day usage once my breakouts are under control. I absolutely recommend this product but don't leap straight into putting it on your face!
