This is a great treatment for all skin types- be careful though, it can be hot! This scrub/mask contains hot peppers which really bring the heat. Apply a small, even layer to your skin after washing. Leave it on for 5 - 10 minutes (the first few times will be hard to leave on!) and then rinse off with cool water. I always follow up with the Stonecrop mask to bring the redness down. The combo leaves you with skin that feels like a baby's! Use it one - two times a week. (All of this was recommended to me by an esthetician who was trained by the Eminence founder!)I'm an older woman who only recently began getting facials and my esthetician used this product on me. I was using proactiv products due to my adult acne (I was prone to cystic type breakouts that hurt and took forever to heal). I apply it three times a week like a mask (even though it isn't). I use dry fingers and apply to a dry face. If you can massage it in and leave it on while you shower, it works even better. Skin is a bit red after, but that's due to the circulation and goes away. After a couple of months of using this, I still have half a jar left and no acne has resurfaced. I would recommend this product to older women or anyone with combination skin prone to breakouts.My esthetician used this on me and felt so great. I decided to buy it afterward on Amazon. This product is AMAZING. I tend to break out a lot so this has helped my face a lot. I just want to remind you that it does sting for about 3-5 minutes. I am starting to slowly switch all my products to Eminence. This is a great product. I totally would recommend you buying this.This is not a masque to be used prior to a night out. It is a great treatment to use every couple nights, but it does leave my face and neck red for a while after I remove it (it's gone before morning). It also has a bit of a sting the longer it's left on before washing it off, I don't recommend it for sensitive skin. I have had great results and numerous compliments on how great my skin looks. I've been using this product in conjunction with Eminence Key Lime Vanilla Age Defying Masque for about three weeks.I have been using this for years. I have large pores and spend a great deal of time outdoors, so my skin gets dirty. This sloughs your skin without scrubbing and empties your dirty pores.I have rosacea and it isn't too harsh for me. it's cruelty free, organic facial care.the first time you use it, you might be shocked, your skin gets VERY red, but that fades after 10-minutes or so.it's kind of an at home mini peel. Works as a scrub, too.This product seems to be original and not counterfeit. My aesthetician recommended it during a facial and it exfoliates just like like it did at the spa. The hot paprika reddens your face during application and my face is still red after about 30 minutes of being washed off. It’s an excellent product.These line of product works great on my face. They have many different products to chose from for all skin types, but this has helped my blemishes and rash prone skin immensely. It has also helped keep it from getting dry as well as not too oily. I love this product and would recommend it for anyone wanting a good scrub. I use it 2-3 times a week. It leaves the face red for 5-10 minutes because of the heat with it, but afterwards my face feels great.I have used this for some time and will continue to use it. I unfortunately ordered it from someone that is not an honest seller. I ordered 2 jars, one was full and one was almost empty and very old. I contacted the seller and they will not respond to my request for another jar , which has already been paid for.Tingly sensation when placed on your skin, and turned my skin red but with the masque treatment after it felt great! Because it's all natural it does expire quickly (needed to use within a month - we live in Bermuda so the temperatures are warmer and the humidity is high).
