BASKET-STYLE MUZZLE - Prevents your dog from biting, licking and chewing things, great to prevent your pampered ones from chewing furnitures. Essential for veterinarians, groomers, and pet owners alike
DURABLE - Made of strong flexible plastic, design for maximum breathability with adjustable nylon strap with quick release buckle and comfort strip for the dog's snout
HUMANE - This allows your pet to pant for cooling, but still keeps her from being able to bite
ANTI-SLIP – Secure Over-head strap that make it difficult for your dog to remove the muzzle
ADJUSTABLE - Each muzzle has an adjustable nylon strap with a quick-release buckle
Honestly I had my doubts with this once it came in. It feels thin and the straps also don’t feel super durable. That being said, it fits my little demon perfectly. He actually doesn’t mind this one so much which is huge. His snout is only 2” long so I was REALLY struggling to find something small enough. He’s far past the preferred weight limit for this but he doesn’t try to get out of this one like he does with the ones that wrap around. This one keeps him cool too whereas the wrap around one makes him overhead now that it’s summer. This still gives him plenty of room to sniff around, luck his nose and mildly bark (it’s not a full bark). Overall I highly recommend it if you also have a mixed breed dog and are having troubles finding a muzzle small enough.FYI my little fat guy is 49% chihuahua mixed with terrier/minpin/PomeranianDidn’t fit quite right, but we fixed it.My dog has dog aggression for a long time and I finally had enough so the muzzle is new to me. She has been practicing putting her face in it for a reward and it seems to be a perfect fit. The color is cute for female dogs. The material is smooth yet sturdy. The adjustments are easy to place for her head fit. Now I’m just looking forward to training and changing her bad habits in a safe way. Love this muzzle though.Old dog started eating stuff she shouldn’t. Soft muzzle didn’t keep her out of it, but this more rigid muzzle has helped enormously. Plenty of room for panting and drinking water. When snugly fit she cannot remove it. We only use when she’s outside and supervised. She’s a corgi/shepherd mix with a medium snout; used the sizing chart and size 5 is perfect for her.So my dog has a habit of eating everything. Horse poop and other random items he would find around. Since he’s outside a lot I wanted something that would let him drink water but those muzzles were to open and he’d still eat stuff. So I tried this one, it works he can’t eat through it but he also can’t drink water so he doesn’t go outside as much anymore. He lost the first one, I’m assuming the clasp broke cause it was small and plastic. I ordered another one cause it’s the only muzzle that’s keeps him from eating stuff. However if left on to long it does rub under their eyes so another reason he doesn’t go outside as much. This muzzle I feel is for dogs that have more of a very narrow nose like a Chihuahua type nose. As you can see in the pic it’s very uncomfortable on my dog. She’s still a puppy so I know this muzzle isn’t going to fit her for very long and it’s barely covering her snout now. So if you have a English Bulldog or a French Bulldog I wouldn’t recommend getting this muzzle. She also was constantly able to get it off of many times and I even had it as tight as it could be without hurting her yet she still was able to ninja her way out of it. I’m going to be ordering a different muzzle so she’s not so uncomfortable and isn’t able to get out of.Wanted to use this to keep my Labrador from eating sidewalk crap during her walks. She can swipe this thing off her muzzle in less than a second. If your pup is a Houdini then skip this contraption. My dog has developed a taste for "snacks" while in the yard. We have over 6 feral cats, leaving them for her. For a variety of reasons (including the just plain grossness factor) I have been keeping her on a leash to take care of her business. She doesn't like it much, I started using the peanut butter tip (although I did substitute her canned food), and short times inside, before going outside, then give her a treat when I take it off. She now will occasionally beg for her mask! She can drink through it if she wants (but she usually isn't out long enough that this is an issue), and enjoys her freedom once again. She will often try to scrape off the mask (and was successful in the beginning before I got it adjusted correctly), but lately has had no success. So, for me, that is a success. She is enjoying running around like a "normal" dog (although she is anything but one!).works well. good investment. strap looks not so durable. will be buying another one for back up
