Unfortunately, I am yet another unlucky young adult who over-plucked their eyebrows at some awkward stage in their life. It's not abysmal so restoration is not imperative to me, but lately I've been thinking it wouldn't hurt to try and restore them a bit. So I purchased this to give it a shot.One thing I notice was that it has a rather unpleasant smell (upon close inspection when I first got the product), but it's not so strong that you would notice it with your regular application. The applicator is that of mascara, and I think the serum must be on the lighter side as it doesn't feel liquidy or heavy on my eyebrows. Very nice.I'm applying it on and off, morning and night, and sometimes throughout the day if I remember.I'm actually using this as a combo with another product I had but never really used before, which is the Rimmel Lash Accelerator clear serum. Though it seems to be working (more on that later), this serum actually dries as a white flaky film, which some might find annoying (I don't put that on if I plan on going out).Anyway, I've started this regimen for perhaps a week or so. I had tried to start it earlier with just letting my eyebrows grow out freely, and it was a MESS. Random hairs everywhere and I couldn't even bring myself to keep up with it. Ended up plucking those right out. But with this... I notice that I have hairs beginning to grow in rather rapidly- right where I apply my products the most, too. Certainly not the wreck I was trying to deal with before.I am not plucking my eyebrows, however. Only stray hairs- that are not in line with where my eyebrows should be- get removed. Plan to use a pencil to fill in the spots that will suffer until then (hate to do that, but if I have to then I will). I understand that a product like this will require me to stick to it and have patience (which is something that people using products like these seem to forget...) I'm prepared to spend a few months and into summer waiting.Therefore, I will update over time as I continue on with this (I always update on products like these). So far, no complaints.EDIT: 4/3/13It's been a few weeks now. I've been taking some comparison pictures, and I can't believe how well my eyebrows are turning out. I already have a bunch growing in, and where there had been lacking anything, hair is starting to grow in. Will certainly be keeping this routine going.EDIT #2: 4/20/13I've gotten so used to filling them in routinely every day that I didn't even note the change from their natural state. Looking at the photos, I was impressed last edit with a small regrowth that was occurring, but today the photos show that it's been substantial since then. I now have a nearly complete (albeit still thin) layer where the rest of my eyebrows used to be. I've had to carefully remove a couple hairs that seemed to be growing straight up (and not bending in the right direction as they should), but that hasn't hurt anything.I've been having to fill them in underneath less and less. Just a spot or a swipe will do at this point. And if it's worth anything, I've gotten a whole bunch of random compliments on my eyebrows lately (I didn't even know people did that, haha).Will update in a few weeks.EDIT: 5-1-13Well, it's been just over a month and I am surprised to be sitting here saying my eyebrows are back to the way they were before this whole mess. Today is my first day needing zero pencil at all. I'd since stopped using the Rimmel as it was a pain to get that remaining film off of my face every day, and this worked alone just fine in its absence. To be honest I knew I had a lot of nerve expecting five dollars and minimal patience to reverse a disaster I had completely brought upon myself, but I can certainly say I appreciate very much that it happened. I will be recommending this product to friends. In the meantime, thank goodness this is over.I still have a ton of this left in the tube... my lashes aren't a problem area, but I might as well try it on them and see if it does anything.Will upload before and after photos today when I get to my laptop!I was skeptical about buying stuff because a. I've never used anything to grow my lashes and b. it's super cheap. While this stuff got plenty of good reviews, I was on the fence because it is so easy for companies to hire people just to write good reviews. I decided to put my faith in Amazon and go for it since $4 is not really a big deal, and I am so glad I did.I have naturally fine, thin, straight hair (and it is a nightmare, let me tell you.) While this means I never have to shave anywhere (yay!), it also means that my eyelashes mimic my hair type. While they were of decent length, they were super straight and thin and I had like three eyelashes on each lid, that's how thin they were. Not to mention I'm a natural blonde, making any lash that does exist invisible to the naked eye. I can make due with an eyelash curler and black mascara and all appears to be well, and I wear falsies on occasion, but let's face it, they can be a real headache to put on.Let me say this now, I have not been entirely consistent. I put this lash accelerator on whenever I could be bothered to remember - usually every other night. Or I will throw some on in the morning before I go out the door. I haven't worn makeup since I started wearing this mostly because the new semester started and I never have time to do my makeup anymore. As such, it didn't really seem to do much for me. The other day I was looking in the mirror, though, and I noticed my eyelashes were significantly thicker, especially at the base (way thicker than the hair on my head!) and I had a row of lashes growing UNDERNEATH the row that was already there and my lash line appeared to be more filled in than before. Of course, it took close examination to notice this, because from far away you can't even tell my eyelashes exist regardless of how thick they get.So today I put mascara on for the first time in about three weeks, and WOW there was a difference! I only used one coat and it looks like I am wearing false lashes. I had not noticed how long and full my lashes got and man did I get a nice surprise. I have also been applying this stuff on my bottom lashes, and now my eyes look almost doll-like. I love it!If you are considering buying this, I definitely recommend it! I will be buying another tube when mine runs out, this stuff is amazing. If it could make eyelashes like mine grow and thicken, it will work for anybody. I bet that if you do it religiously every night, you will see results a lot quicker than I did, but you really could get away with doing it every other day. I'm going to upload pictures later as soon as I can find decent lighting and show the before & after. Now if they could make something like this for hair, I would be a very happy girl. :)RubbishNo issues wotso ever works really good ? apart from I only revived 2 pack instead of 3 packBought product as was not willing to spend lots of money on the expensive salon product. Not worth the purchase. I do not find that product actually works with helping brows and lash grow.Alsooooo ich bin super zufrieden. Ich habe diesen vor einem Jahr geschenkt bekommen und erst jetzt ist er leer geworden und habe mir sofort einen neuen bestellt. Ich hatte meine augenbraun jahrelang dünn gezupft wollte sie aber wieder wachsen lassen und es hat keine zwei Wochen gedauert und langsam hat man wieder gemerkt wie die augenbraun zurückwachsen. Jetzt sind meine augenbraun wie früher was ich persönlich gar nicht glauben konnte. Die Lieferung war super schnell hätte ich wirklich nicht mit gerechnet. Ich benutze diesen nicht nur über Nacht, sondern auch als augenbraungel und ich muss sagen kein anderes Augenbraungel von anderen marken egal wie teuer hält die Augenbraun so gut in Stand. Da ich lange Wimpern von Natur habe benutze ich dieses Gel nicht für Wimpern und kann nicht sagen, ob die Wimpern dadurch auch so schnell wachsen. Also ich persönlich bin sehr zufrieden.Ich bin eher enttäuscht von dem Produkt aber für das Geld kann man auch nicht viel erwarten! Das Produkt hat nach 6 wo nichts gebracht weder bessere Wimpern noch dichtere augenbrUen! Das ist eher noch sehr trocken wenn man es auf die Augenbrauen tut trocknet die Haut aus, es ist eher wie ein Geld das sie in Form halt mehr aber auch nicht! Werde es nicht mehr nachkaufen
